Social Media Intern
Location: Remote

The Social Media Intern will engage with Chippin’s online community across social media platforms, build brand awareness, communicate our mission, and help drive sales. Responsibilities: A successful candidate will be a creative, organized, and enthusiastic self-starter that is knowledgeable of current social media trends and is comfortable creating content across various social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Responsibilities will include:
- Become knowledgeable on Chippin’s suite of products, their health benefits, and eco benefits.
- Work alongside the team to create a plan for social media strategies monthly and help maintain an organized Content Calendar
- Brainstorm campaign ideas that connect current trends to Chippin’s mission.
- Create original content for all platforms with most emphasis on TikTok and Instagram.
- Post approved content regularly and engage with commenters.
- Initiate conversations with dog accounts and dog influencers.
- Conduct post-evaluation of campaigns to learn what worked well and where we should improve future campaigns.
- Bring new ideas, innovations, and opportunities to the Chippin team to further our mission to reduce the eco pawprint!
Requirements:
- Proficient on all social media platforms and comfortable ideating and generating content.
- Strong communication and design skills; able to catch on to Chippin’s brand identity and run with it!
- Able to work independently and has an entrepreneurial spirit.
Availability: This position is remote and flexible based on the hired individual’s schedule. The intern should be able to commit to one semester at minimum, with opportunity for extension based on performance. The intern should have some availability to work during normal business hours in order to connect with staff and their supervisor though content can be drafted and made in non-business hours. The intern will report to the Community Engagement Specialist.
Fees & Payments: The intern will be provided 1) a semester-long stipend based on experience and platform proficiency, and/or 2) school credit based on institution’s requirements.
