Got Questions?
We’ve got them covered.

Is the packaging sustainable?

Yes, our "earth saving" eco friendly packaging is made from 29% post consumer recycled (PCR) materials! This packaging decreases the amount of plastic pollution and microplastics that end up in our landfills, waterways, and drinking water. If you haven't seen our packaging already, if you look closely you can see little bumps that are not in "virgin" plastic packaging; that's little pieces of sterilized and repurposed milk cartons and yogurt cups. Also, it may crinkle/wrinkle more than standard food pouches; that's a good thing! It is not recyclable. We know that less than 9% of plastic is actually recycled and oftentimes recyclable materials will still go to landfill because there is no market for them. So we chose to ensure we could support the reuse of other materials that would otherwise create waste with our PCR food safe packaging.

Do dogs like cricket protein?

Dogs love cricket protein and Chippin cricket dog treats! Crickets are good for dogs in providing a source of complete and highly digestible protein that has all 10 essential amino acids. For dogs with allergies or sensitive tummies, crickets are a natural source of prebiotic fiber, protein variety, and support for gut health. This treat is powered by omega 3-rich crickets. We then pair the cricket protein with healthy all natural ingredients that dogs love too. Check out Superfood and Smokehouse BBQ for other varieties.

How often should I feed my dog Chippin?

These treats are intended for supplemental feeding to use as a treat, topper or help with training. Each bag of Chippin comes with a handy feeding guide! As a maximum number of treats based on 10% of your dog’s daily recommended calories (as advised by veterinarians), we have the following suggested treat guidelines per day: SMALL SIZE DOGS (under 20lbs.): 1-2 treats per day; MEDIUM SIZE DOGS (20 - 40lbs.): 3-4 treats per day; LARGE SIZE DOGS (under 40lbs.+): 5-6 treats per day.
